Located in Potts Point, Honkas Bar + Eats brinks the best of Asian street food from Korea, Japan and Vietnam


Honkas Bar + Eats opened in July 2018, in the site of the old Favela / The Village. Part of the Kings Cross precinct, once a buzzing club scene, the area has gentrified following changes to Sydney's lock out law. The area is becoming a hip and trendy dining + small bar precinct.

Taking inspiration from the street stalls of Asia, Honkas' menu has a balance of clean, fresh, healthy dishes and irresistible cheat food, oh and we only serve brown rice. is moving into a dining and bar regionSince then, Golden Spork winner Chef Lang has been serving both quality interpretations of classic dishes and daring new ventures into the uncharted territories of food.

Pacific Tavern's interior, designed by the award-winning Hayden Collective, reflects the hip sensibilities of the surrounding area while also paying tribute to Brooklyn's storied past. The multi-level restaurant offers the choice to observe passers-by in the glass-encased Cascade Bar on the 2nd floor, or watch the art of cooking as it occurs in the open-kitchen dining room.
